Yamaha ATVYamaha Motor Corporation was started in 1995 by Genichi, the son of president of Nippon Gakki. The products manufactured by the Yamaha Motor Corporation include scooters, personal watercraft, boats, snowmobiles and also it produces utility and sport ATVs. The Utility ATVs are designed for the tough off road terrain and are beefy and tough while the sports ATVs of Yamaha are designed for off-road racing and are quick and light.

Yamaha produced it’s first ATV, it’s name was Tri-Moto that was sold in United States. After coming into the market it become popular very quickly. It was equipped with a 123cc two-stroke engine, CDI ignition, Autolube oil injection system, five speed transmission, and a snorkel air intake. As compare to current Yamaha ATVs it was not that much reliable and good-looking. After it’s great success, the designers from Yamaha produced their next model-the Tri Moto 225DX.

Yamaha Tri Zinger ATVThe next model manufactured by Yamaha is the 59cc Tri-Zinger. It was the first Youth ATV designed by Yamaha. It featured fully automatic transmission, shaft drive, a tethered emergency stop switch and adjustable speed limiters. The best thing in this ATV is that parent could easily adjust the engine or control the unit and become safe for the learner.

The Moto-4 was the Yamaha’s first four wheel ATV. It had a 196cc four stroke engine. It had an increasing volume engine. The next model is Yamaha Tri-Z 250. It is said that it was the first high performance Yamaha ATV. It had a 250cc, liquid cooled, YZ-based, 2 stroke engine. The model features front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, Monoshock rear suspension, air-assist front forks, a low center of gravity and under seat fuel tank.

Yamaha also manufactured a sport ATV which had an electric start button. It was the world’s all time best selling sport ATV. It had some new features such as 350cc four stroke engine, adjustable long travel suspension, 6 speed transmissions with reverse and front and rear hydraulic disc brakes.

The Pro Hauler is the first Yamaha ATV that has a cargo bed system. It featured a 230cc four stroke engine, sealed drum brakes, locking rear differential, optional thermo switch controlled electric cooling fan and a reverse gear. It was known by the name Turf and had low range transmission and turf tread tires for commercial applications. The standard Pro Hauler model features a 10 speed transmission, high-low range and all terrain tires.

Yamaha Grizzly ATVAmong all the popular models of Yamaha ATVs, Grizzly ATVs are the most famous and perfect for camping, hunting and off-road activities. This model is compatible like a California green-sticker, so you can use your Yamaha ATV without any tension. The seats designed are very comfortable for whole day riding. You can haul your ATV out of the mud because it’s center mounted trailer hitch can tow over 1,200 pounds.

Some Yamaha Grizzly ATV models come with custom made shells and in the colors like hunter green or high definition camouflage. Also Yamaha offers matching accessories like rear rack bags and gun scabbards. Also there are matching fenders available to buy for your Yamaha ATVs.
